OkcWrangler Thanks everyone! I found another off an 08 that they are asking 500 for. Maybe I can haggle them down from there ;-)

tcass i had one from my 2007, never used and still unwrapped and in the boxes. i let it go for $300.00. I think its too much, but if you think its a deal, thats all that counts.

Tell him to call the dealership and ask for them. When he gets them, you'll give him $650 for the full set. It's bad for the top to leave it under the hard top by the way.

j0nx Egads, no that's not a good price. I see NIB tops for JKU's all the time on CL for $650 or less and used tops in great condition for $500 and sometimes less. Tops for JK's are even less. I'd offer at most $650 for that top and even then I'd start with $550 and bid him from there.

krutj I bought a spare top from an 09 like mine, paid $225 and included door surrounds and all hardware.

MTH New is about $1500, so in that sense it's a good price. See here.

But still, you can get a new Bestop for $1000. See here and here. You said you didn't want that, but keep in mind that Bestop actually manufactures the OEM top. So while there are some differences, the quality should be essentially the same.

Make sure you get ALL of the hardware.

Beastmaster It's my understanding Chrysler outsources their Jeep soft tops to Bestop. That being the case, if you buy a Bestop I guess you are buying an OEM top.

For 900 on Craigslist. Is this a good price? Sorry I just have no clue what to expect. I know I can get a best top for that price but I want to go the OEM route. Thank you.
