jpdocdave hey, and welcome. you would need to steal everything from the other jeep, there's a soft top frame, that folds up and down, that the cloth top is attached to. you can do it, but you have to take it all. i think there's even rails that have to bolt to your tub, not sure on that one, been a while.

don't ditch the hard top, they're nice. i never used to care, but now that i'm not 20, and don't ride in the snow w/ the top down, i like the hardtop to.

hardtop to softtop

My roommate has both hard top and soft top.
I have the hard top.
I want to borrow his soft top for this summer, yet i do not have the mounting hardware to do so.

It looks like I need some parts that connect to the roll bar. The bars that support the softtop connect to this bracket or part that is attached to the roll bar. Can anyone shed some light on this or point me to a place that might sell a kit.

I don't want to remove the items from my roommate's jeep.

I have even considered trading the hardtop for a softtop, but i am not quite there just yet.
