Xpress From what I have read and researched:

-Install 4.0 computer
-Wire up additional 2 injectors
-Extend some wiring

And that's basically it, this is of course only for MPFI 2.5L Jeep, which you should have.

2fastc front and rear drive shafts. Just did the same thing to my 92 got a 94 Cherokee 4.0 H.O. donor moved the frame mounts and re clocked the transfer case put her in, wasn't bad to do took a weekend to pull both out and install the 4.0.

P0234 As much time as you have invested, its hard to imagine it being more than a full drivetrain swap. There are so many little things that kill you time and expense wise on any sort of swap. Its a labor of love for sure.

Xpress People do it all the time, donor cherokees are very popular. You need good welding skills, a lot of time and effort, another vehicle to drive around, and a couple of buddies to help.

2.5 to 4.0

I have a 1992 Jeep Wrangler I have put a extreme amount of time and money into it to just sell and put all my parts on a 4.0. So I was wondering if it would be possible to buy a fully running working 1992 Jeep Cherokee and use that as a donor vehicle. For engine, transmission, transfer case, wire harness, and the computer. Other than labor is there anything else that i would need to get or am missing?
