|MikD||Pheonix, stop by and check it out, can give you some ideas. About 10min from where you are. Before you do any mods wheel with us a bit, bet we can save you some serious money.|

|MikD||No the porperty is in New Windsor, southwest of Newburgh. Its a small place but the terrain is varried and lets us create a lot of fun mildly challenging trails. Totals out to about 4 1/2 miles of trail so it takes several hours to get a group through.|

The wheelin spot is private prop, we have been having wheelin days there for the past 5yrs. We have healthy group that meets up regularly with anything from 5-25 rigs for a day of mellow wheelin, stock to 40's.
My JKU is simple. The lift and shocks were bought during a sale for $490 (list was $1100) the skids were $500 (csn get them now much cheaper from eauto), the tires came from a forum member who was parting out his rig, 5 new 37's for $1000, and the bumper/carrier came from eauto for $500. There are other small items as well but they arent really needed so I don't count them as part of the build. Plenty of fun for the trails and decently armored for a reasonable amount of money. That being said you can do it for considerably less money if you do your homework, we've had guys run 37's with insane flex for just a few hundred dollars.

One of the nice things you will find about a Jk is you can mod it a fair bit for less money than you think. Mine is set up pretty well for the trails in this area with only about 2gs into it. I'm armored on 37's with a bumper/carrier and 4" of lift.
In the mean time bring it by and play with it in the dirt, our wheelin spot is about 5min from where you bought it. Even stock they do really well.

Good luck with the new jeep!

|phoenixdown318||Nothin major this year as far as mods are concerned. I'll probably do a few things to slightly change up some cosmetic things, but I just moved and bought a jeep so the money to heavily mod just won't be there lol.|
