NickYJ95 i live in mooresville nc and was driving down brawley and a police officer pulled up next to me with my doors off at a stop light looked at me and gave me the jeep wave and drove off lola

LilYeller Our doors are "protection from the elements only, not to be used as saftey equipment"

As for the mirrors I use the Rugged Ridge quick release mirrors with doors on or off and before you ask YES you can see out of the pass one with full doors.

whatitism Being a LEO , I can't see how any state could have a law about doorless when there are motorcycles on the road , but then again who am I.

damitjim I've spoken to a few officers, none has ever pulled any one for not having a driver's side mirror or third brake light. I removed my spare tire carrier since it's not truly beefy enough for 35's.

allengba Yeah. Because when I got pulled over for speeding with my doors off (and my mirrors are attached my doors) (I got a warning) the officer told me if he wanted too he could of given me a ticket for not having a driver side mirror.

NC Law does require a drivers side mirror as well.
