If you want to actually see good, you will have to go with hids though.
Thats funny, mine do not have a blue tint to them and they are at least 50% brighter than my stock lamps were.

I think you been sukin the crack pipe again.

Go to a good electronics shop and pick up a burnishing tool. A company called "GC" makes them as well as other electronic tools. The part number is 00-9338-000, it's a very thin bar of spring steel that is about equal to 400 grit sandpaper only steel file like. They are used for cleaning contacts and female connectors, it's .0250 wide. You probably won't find them at Radio Shack, you need a good electronics shop or industrial electric shop that has people who do that kind of work like cleaning relay contracts and such.

4point I'll second the Silver Stars, granted they don't compare with the IPF's but they are 10X better than stock and are cheap. You can purchase them at any auto parts store. So if you're on a budget these are what you want.

Sometimes it actually is the bulbs. That said all 4 of the 97TJ's we've had have had to have the headlight switch replaced.
Good idea time, go buy the bulbs and replace ALL of them, markers, turns, backup, brake, etc. Clean the sockets out and put a dab of dielectric grease in all of them before putting the bulbs in.

KBR97 well that turn indicator is probably staying on because the turn/marker light bulb is out.

richp CIBIE's and the harness, you can build the harness yourself if you want. Just need two relays, two H4 female sockets and one H4 male socket plus some 12 or 10ga wire...oh and some split loom or 4ft sections of shrink tubing for neatness.
03-28-2008 03:43 PM
potatobill is the wiring harness just plug and play?
03-28-2008 03:40 PM
JCS05Rubi IPF H4 housings and IPF Fatboy bulbs..night and day difference. With the headlight wiring harness, I heard they are even better (which would be retarded incredible compared to stock..)

[TheYJGuy] I prefer Sylvania SilverStar Halogens. They are $30 each.
