Jodfie im going to plan on doing something similar...ive found though that in vehicle use RFID is very finicky... maybe you can PM me and we can brainstorm

I-Want-A-Jeep I'm thinking you could make your own via a fuel cutoff switch wired into an RFID reader and an RFID transmitter attached to your wallet/keys/belt/whatever...

Who is RFID savvy?

Had an idea of replacing the magnetic reed switch in this :

Off Road Only TDS-ADE-II - Off Road Only ADE-II Theft Prevention Device for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

with an RFID reader and fob. Only problem is I don't know what I would need to do that. Can anyone shine some light on the subject?
