WininUtah Before moving to Utah, we fished the New York Bight for Striped Bass and Fluke. Here's our God Daughter, Irina, with some of her catches. After having boats for 17 years it was quite a change to end up in the desert! Kept a couple of rods just in case.

Drives me nuts too. I get bored with the stocked ones anymore so I have to chase more exciting stuff haha. Honestly the fishing is harder but they hit more because they aren't fished heavily and the native/wild fish are much more aggressive.

GoldenSahara00 Nice. I'm looking into getting a new kayak. A vapor 10 or a d10(?) by the bass pro company and then adding some rod holders etc myself.

FlCrkr Went out a week or so ago Kayak fishing, didn't really catch much but a couple small specs, some idiot in his boat was tearing up the flats. Did come across a nice little inlet in the middle of a island I was fishing around and decided to take the kayak through it.

SurfKaster tight work.

My last outing. Things are slowing down at the beach, but surprisingly pomps are still in our neck of the woods. Caught few undersized (not pictured) & took some whiting fur dinner.

GoldenSahara00 Been doing some cat lately and gona go for some carp sometime soon. I usually double fish with my big 15lb rod for the monsters and my medium trout/ bass rod carrying 6 or 4 #. Here's a few trout and a bass from roving fishing this year. The ocean fish were from Avon pier/outer banks. The biggest brown was my dads a few weeks ago and the big big rainbow was a close friend from opening day. I'm still chasing my big one of the year. Been hunting a lot of natives and checking new streams out this year.

Yeah, that's the camera case floating away! My son took the photo and I spotted the camera case floating....
Very cool. When I was a kid, one of my best friends and I would challenge eachother to see who could catch the largest carp on the smallest fishing rod. We'd cast dough balls out from the shore as far as we could with fishing rods almost the size of iice fishing rods and just wait. When we hooked up it was game on! In our eyes we were catching Marlin! I know I have some pics somewhere, I've got to see if I can dig them up.

krisbman Carp have some shoulders on them for sure. Caught a few in the Carson river in Nevada. I got stuck in the mud when i set the hook and he pulled me over. Also fished the Truckee and Pyramid.

Discount Tire @CascadeWanderer, "Carp on a fly" - What did you catch it on? Water skipper? Wooly bugger?

Also... Quick! Grab it! You dropped one of your fly boxes!

Cascade Wanderer Mostly fly fish, not always, but mostly.

Silver salmon on the fly, Alaska:

My niece's first fish! Caught on a fly rod, Washington State:

Carp on the fly? Why not? They fight hard!

Steelhead, Washington:

Sometimes, fishing for salmon, ya gotta share the river... Respectfully. My boot is a size 12...

Pretty nice fishing spot. Salmon trip.

My son, fishing from a drift boat on the Rogue, Oregon. I was on the oars. We lived...

Washington steelhead, winter fishing:

Love to fish! The Jeep gets me to some good places.
