slf41002 This is from a dodge and says will fit Dodge and Jeep

slf41002 They both should have the same dodge style plug.As long as they are both 1.5 din they should be the same.I will check to make sure but I think they should interchange.

richp There is a guy on Ebay that sells them, factory radios, he has all the model numbers with pictures and what they will fit. I know on my 97 and 98 the head units are the same in both the TJ's and XJ and I also am assuming the 97ZJ, it may just plug right in.

tbone7213 I have only seen a picture, but that was my worry it looks smaller

Triple88a oh wait, what din is the dodge cd player? How tall is it?
06-13-2008 03:20 PM
tbone7213 No I haven't even bought it yet. For only $35 I guess it is worth the chance

Triple88a well you could buy one for the dodge cd player just to see which wire is which, then return it lol I dont think they will make "dodge to jeep" harnesses though

Did you try to see if it will fit directly?
06-13-2008 03:14 PM
tbone7213 Sure don't. I was hoping Chrysler used a universal hook up but I guess not. I figured I could just buy a wiring harness and make it work but I was hoping I could just plug it in

Triple88a everything will work if you know how to wire it. Do you know the wires from the stereo from the dodge stratus?

For the jeep you can get the wiring harness from autozone for few bucks.

Stereo question?

Just got a 2000 Wrangler without a cd player, so I need a new stereo. Found a factory stereo with a cd changer out of a 2001 dodge stratus. Will it work? Thanks in advance
