Gary2 close to 6" of lift on a TJ and its a daily driver , I hope you dont drive real far . the Ranchos will make it a softer ride but thats the easy part . the higher you go the less road friendly a TJ gets . Its a lot like a pig on stilts . Just sold one with Clayton long arms and it was OK but their was really no nead for them . I'd personally say possibly a TT ,maybe Currie control arms with what you have and the Ranchos and ya won't get hung up on things long arms tend to along with some other odd weight transfer characteristics . Do a search here and Jeep Forum about Long arms vs short and read all you can before you spend . Research is your friend and not advertisements forums with real world users .

91badass I have the 5.5 rock krawler x factor paired with bilstein 5100's and i love it, rides better than it did stock. The rock Krawler is heavy, all the arms are solid 2" steel, but i like that weight down there for stability on the trail.

blue6tj Did you look at the Fabtech Long arm kits? I had a 6" on my truck, AWESOME...

dankleader420 I also heard the rock krawler lift was alot heavier which i feel may help, my ride feels really rouch right now, partially from my shocks that i have now, but also from it being so light, does anyone else have this problem? In snow i seem to just float across the top of it and cant get enough weight down to get my tires to dig in. but just feels very light and gets thrown down

New lift help

I currently have a 4" fabtech short arm lift on my 2003 jeep wrangler x. Im looking to get a new lift and cant decide between these 2 lifts.

The first: Rock Krawler X Factor Plus Long Arm 5.5" System or the Tripple Threat, not sure which would be better for a DD.

Rock Krawler Suspension TJ55XFLA02 - Rock Krawler X Factor Plus Long Arm 5.5" System for 03-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec
Rock Krawler Suspension TJ55TTLA02 - Rock Krawler Triple Threat Long Arm 5.5" System for 03-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec

The Second: Rubicon Express 5.5" Extreme-Duty™ Long Arm Suspension System

Rubicon Express 5.5" Extreme-Duty™ Long Arm Suspension System for 03-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec

Both seem like quality lifts but i cant seem to find a comparison between the two side to side. I use it primarily for a daily driver but usually go off roading every weekend. I am looking for something that handles well on road and rides pretty smooth but can handle well off road as well. Also considering upgrading to rancho 9000xl adjustable shocks to go with it. if anyone has any experience with both of this lifts and has a comparison and preference of which they think rides nicer on road and performs off road as well i would appreciate it. as well as the shocks. Or if you have experience with one of them what do you like and dislike about the like. I have read alot about both but they are always biased to whichever lift they have on their jeep and say its far superior than the other but never say why.

Thanks in advance guys!!
