Do it once and don't do it again.
Skip the 35's and go with 37's. If I had to do it over, I would have put 40's on our two door.
Our 4 door is getting 40's put on sometime later this year as well.

Swapping axles already? I push my D30 pretty hard and have no intention on swapping axles soon, even when I go with 37's. Sounds like your are building quite a platform. I say skip 35's and go with 37's, seems like that is the direction you will eventually go. Regear to 5.13's

The dynatrac pro rock 44 is a nice base to build from IMO.. But G2 has a decent reputation.. Coming with a ARB already instaled is a huge plus.. As to the splines.. in simple terms the bigger the axle shaft the more splines it will have.. those notches at the one end. For a 2012 and 35x12.5's your looking at either 4.10's or 4.56's.. For 35's the stock D44 rear should be perfectly fine so no need to go to a D60 unless you really want to.

So many axle options
I bought a 2012 2 door sport for a reason. I wanted something that I built. I know I know it costs more that way and I don't want to get into that debate. I just wanted something different
I know I want a D44 for the front but I don't know which one. I have been looking at the G2 44 with the ARB already installed. I already installed the compressor so that would make sense. Any thoughts? Anything better? My next question is gearing because I will have to switch my rear gears as well and add an ARB locker while I'm in there. I don't really understand the spline thing and what is better than what. Why a 30 spline? the jeep has 3.73's
What I have done so far is the following. Rock hard rear bumper with tire carrier and the whole gas can and above spare rack package. Rock hard skid plate. Warn elite front bumper with warn 8000 winch. 3.5 Rock Krawler lift with JE REel 1350's both ends. JKS quick disconnects and front and rear adj
track bars. ACE rock sliders and an ARB compressor
Soon to be is 35 12.50's (currently 33 12.50's)
