Dare2BSquare My oldest daughter starts grad school again for the summer tomorrow. So she is still in Virginia. My youngest's husband was on call this weekend, so she is still in Kentucky. She is coming in next weekend, to spend the week though. I'm working right now. Just another day....

At least momma let me pick where to eat lunch today!!!

JCS05Rubi We had the perfect fathers day!

got up early, and gave my dad the new book he has been wanting to get, along with a card. Then, after some Apple butter on cinnamon raison bagels, my sister, father, and I got on the bikes.

We rode about 60 miles, and ended at a bike show. perfect weather, ~82 degrees, no humidity, nice cool breeze. Got some pit beef, than headed home another 60ish miles to switch riders. My sister switched with my girlfriend.

After we switched, we hit the roads on the bikes again, this time we only went about 60 miles total. We stoped at a local farmers "market" on the side of the road. Got some fresh Sweet Corn, cantalope, apple butter, and snowballs.

Now, dad is watching Nascar, while I cook him some steaks on the grill that have been marinating since 7:00 am this morning. After dinner, I think we are going to sit down and watch a movie with the family.

All-in-All, a very nice fathers day
