When I was looking for my Jeep I asked a few people hard vs soft and they all said soft cause of the versatility in the spring/summer/fall and just keep the snow from packing up on it in the winter and all is good.

Just like "other" topless things its the best as long as they dont sag

CiDZillA Hey zimmem1 I ran a Bestop Sunrider top in my '98 Jeep for about 5 years and never had an issue in any weather. Plenty warm in the winter. That top is basically the same as any other OEM soft top except it had a flip back sun roof feature.

I now had a Trektop NX on my 2010 Jeep and I only installed it yesterday so I do not have a lot of info on that one yet, but I've spoken to many guys who run those year round with no problem. Jeeps have great heaters.

I currently have a hard top in storage but I may end up selling it... hard to say right now.

Year round soft top ?

Hey Mn folks
Anyone going with a soft top year round ? If so, can you point me to a good one ? I've got a 2012 JK 2-door.

Thanks in advance for any insight !
