Gen right 6 in metal flares. Did final fitment and drove it to work. Nothing fell off so must be good to go. Now they head to the powder coating place and re-installed one last time.

Moving on to other stuff I put these on. Metal flares will be later on.

Got the drag link built and painted not let it dry and install in a few. Next up is the track bar relocation and new track bar.

After the Wj knuckle and brake upgrade I was using my old Tera flex high stuff for the tie rod and drag link. It works but I need a smaller diameter pipe to clear the diff and swaybar mount. So I start the new tie rod 1.5 x 1/4 wall dom with the Tera flex offset tre's.

|MUDRUNNER AZ||Changed pitman arm from drop to stock. I will see how it drives tomorrow. Also replaced a broken rear shock bar pin.|

|Hums99||Might need to put a bend in it also. What size lift are you running? I'm running stock pitman arm with 4.5" lift with new tb bracket on the frame.|

|Hums99||Looks like you could go back to stock pitman arm. IMO|

Finally got the wj knuckle and brake conversion done and drove it to work today. Brakes work way better. Did not seem to have any bump steer so not sure on whether I am relocating track bar or maybe put a shorter pitman arm to get them the same angle.

|MUDRUNNER AZ||Just the upper is triangulated. It's the wife's so did not want to get too out of the box for when she street drives it. It does work great and it's built way beyond her capabilities. I will post some picks tomorrow.|

are you going to long arm the front, or long radius arm the front?
|05-21-2012 11:52 PM|
Well it moved under it own power tonight. Just needs exhuast now so have not drivin it but in the driveway it's rather loud.
Truss with mounts at 45 degrees
Upper and Lower frame end mounts
Passenger side mount about 2 in from cross member.
Driver side mount about a 1/4 in away as the cross member is shaped different on that side.

How did you know how long to make the arms?
I'm just staring to work on a 9" for the rear of my TJ. Is there a trick to figuring out the right length and angles?
