Triple88a i search online man. Google, yahoo.. and then search for the manufacturer and then look at their diagrams and stuff.

I believe they are twins. I mean you can clearly see the inner tube and then the outer shell.

straight off of omes website. Also the shocks i have have a little ding in them.. In a monotube, this will be enough to ruin the shock while mine work great..

That's a good point. I always just assumed they were monotubes. Does anyone know for sure?

And Tripp, where do you find all of these diagrams and pics? Your computer has got to be FULL of these things!!

Jerry Bransford My RE Monotubes have been installed nearly four years and I still like them and their ride a lot. That they have a lifetime replacement warranty is cool too.

JeepersdoitDeeper I'm running the OME long travels with a RE SuperFlex. Been driving the Jeep to school this week, 100 miles round trip. Rides pretty nice.

Scout I've heard good about both you're inquiring about but after some research awhile back the OME came out on top for me. They were the best shocks I ever had on my Jeep.

cavediverjc I just installed a set of OME Long Travel Monotubes on my Jeep and I love them. They give a very comfortable ride, at least on the road. I haven't had a chance to take my Jeep off road with these new shocks yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I don't think you'll regret buying the OME Monotubes. I've never owned the RE Monotubes, but I'm sure they're very good.....RE makes quality stuff. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these companies......

Let us know what you decide to do.....

OME Monotubes or RE Monotubes?

I was originally planning on getting the RE monotubes since I plan to get the RE 3.5" lift. I've read alot of good things about the OME monotubes on here. Anyone have the REs? Which should I get? I like that someone mentioned the OMEs gave a softer ride.
