nwbronco It is a YJ all the same. So any YJ hard top will fit it. Try looking on Craig's List.

Bleakney Do you guys know where I could get a hardtop for it for fairly cheap (in hardtop pricing terms)? I've seen them online for 2,000+ and that is quite a bit of money for something that isn't an immediate need or necessity. I was just wondering if you guys knew of a good place to find one.

Bleakney Yeah it's a '93, and I'm not sure. I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I don't notice these type of things. but would that make a difference in which kind of hard top I could use?

Mitchness Are you sure that's a '93? '93s came with the family style roll bars. Was the roll bar swapped prior to you purchasing?

Bleakney Awesome! Thanks

Mitchness YJ, TJ, JK, etc. is the chassis code. If you own a Wrangler from 87-95 you own a YJ, no matter the trim. Any hardtop from that year set will work, and the TJ tops work with a little finagling.

Bleakney I'll get some pics uploaded, and according to the VIN number and dealership i got it from, it is a base model not a YJ, but just looking through some pictures it looks as if it could be interchangable with a YJ.

nwbronco You'll need to enlighten me. Base? 93 model that is not a YJ. Got pics?

1993 Jeep Wrangler BASE Hardtop

I just bought a 1993 Jeep Wrangler Base model (Not TJ or YJ) and I'm looking for a hardtop for it. I was wondering if a TJ or a YJ hardtop will work on it? I looked online and I noticed all the ones for the TJ and YJ look very similar to my model. Please let me know if this will work or not, much appreciated!
