bbtj No problem. I would check with the ranger station in the area where you are going. Not sure if it was this forum or another one, but someone got nailed for being on a closed road, even though it had been open a few days before.

bbtj Try this site, Mark Twain National Forest - Maps & Publications, where you can print off the maps. Not sure how up-to-date those are, so you might just stop by a ranger station and get the information you want.

Places to Explore

Hey,

Does anyone know any good places to explore between St. Louis and Sikeston? I'm going on a bit of a road trip over Memorial Day. I was thinking about exploring logging roads in and around Mark Twain National Forest but I've never been there so I don't really know where I could find any.

Im looking for some place that is free and isn't too difficult. Just looking for a nice day out in the woods
