Pungo Offroad

I had them do a lift on my Tahoe.. They did a great job.. mounted my tires I purchased elsewhere.. The guys were very nice...

I still use this.. I called to have them check out a new Jeep I just got.. they were very friendly...

MiniMe1969 I've had great luck with Open Air Jeeps over by Lynnhaven Mall. It's hard to find, but they are friendly, knowledgeable and the prices are great. I found it by accident.

greenjeepgurl87 Awesome that'll be greatly appreciated!

gukicker10 They are installing a lift on my jeep on Friday so I'll let you know how it goes. I understand there has been some negative reviews of them but they are $500 cheaper than every other place I got a quote from (star motors, production offload, Atlantic motorsports). They don't do alignments there but I'm fine taking it somewhere else for that. I'll be sure to give it a thorough inspection afterwards and post an update...

greenjeepgurl87 Better late than ever. Thank you for the input! I'm not going til spring, so I have time. Lol I'd rather know they suck than find out the hard way

SpongerAtHeart Sorry, know the thread is a few weeks old, but I wanted to weigh in. Pungo Off Road has received nothing but horrible reviews. I have never talked to anyone having a good experience. And the fact they are out in Pungo, driving back and forth to fix their problems has to be frustrating.

I have to suggest Production Off Road. I had them install my snorkel. They quoted me, the work came in about $75 over, and they honored their quote. I did ask them about help installing my CB radio I got for Christmas, and the quote was a little higher than I would have liked, but they responded that day and were very helpful and clear.

greenjeepgurl87 I wanted to do it myself, but my skill is less than up to par. Lol ill give them a look

necromancer_tat No problem! I'd give Star Motors a chance first if I was looking to pay someone to work on my Jeep, but if it's something that Star Motors isn't comfortable doing then my next step here locally would be Eastern Offroad.

greenjeepgurl87 Awesome ill check them out, my family wants me to get it done while I'm visiting, they won't tell me why. But they wanna be apart of.it I suppose. Thanks again! I'd rather pay more for quality service

necromancer_tat No problem. If you're looking for someone in this area that does good work on a Jeep check out Eastern Off Road, they're kinda expensive, but have a lot of Jeep experience, and Star Motors.

greenjeepgurl87 Wow. Thanks for that!! I'm def. Not going there!!

necromancer_tat My across the street neighbor had his truck lifted by them, and he's had lots of problems with them. He had to take his truck back to them 3 times to fix things that they messed up, then finally he quit taking it back to them and just fixed everything himself.

greenjeepgurl87 I'm gonna take the lack of comments as a no.one has heard about them and I will not be going there.

Pungo Offroad?

Hey all, i'm a jersey jeeper, but my cousins told me that I should look into going to Pungo offroad in Virginia beach when I visit for the summer. Now they say their friends have had trucks done there and love it. Was curious if any jeep owners have used them or know someone who has and would recommend it? Thanks everyone!
