Thegame damn I would love to do something like this but my directional skills are TERRIBLE and I mean terrible. I wouldn't enjoy the wheeling due to constantly being worried about getting lost : ( Im an idiot

Lineman827 yep, what pissed me off was that he was polite, but still an arrogant tool bag. i shouldve known with the holiday wknd. and all. when i didnt move fast enough to turn around, he looked at me and said " looks like youre gettin an attitude, i can still write the tix. i said look, i appricicated u not writing me, i just need to tell me wife in tue truck behind me whats goin on. and ya know, normally i could care less about dble standards when it comes to cops of any type, but seein him follow me out in his totally tinted out(including the windshield) state owned suburban, really pissed me off.

srad600 Wow thats nuts because we were just talking about it. lol.

Im fucked then too if I ever get talked to. I got flats like yours on the front and stockers on the back.

Pocket styles are too much money, Im never getting em. This is gonna be a fun summer.

Lineman827 he was "polite" & cut me a break, but damn man... he also warned me that if my back fenders thst arent on yet are like my fronts, he still wouldve stopped me. its just irratating!!

Lineman827 just got booted by a ranger fir tires stuckin out 2 far. "leave or take a $200 tix"

srad600 My wife just DLed that the other day for her iPhone so I got it on my android. I dont know yet either if Ill use it. I just use google maps if I need it like you said. I also use "My tracks" by Google for android every time I go out there. I start it when I head out so I can always find my way back if I find a cool new spot.
05-26-2012 08:26 AM
Lineman827 also just downloaded an android app called pocket ranger. has a ton of info bout state parks, any state, but i just noticed a gps mapping feature as well. not sure how helpful itll be yet.

Lineman827 the woods are big, but this is still nj.not gonna get lost all day , lol you can get turned around and go in circles for a while. you can also stop at the atsion ranger station and grab a paper map of the major trails/fire roads. also, ive checked google maps on my phone while out there & it may show you in the middle of the woods not on a road, but youll still see where u are in reference to landmarks like 206, lakes, old r/r tracks etc. im not a pro @ knowin wharton, im lookin forward to runnin into some pple out there and findin out where some of the hang out spots are once youre in the woods.

Nickdarocha How is it? Is it easy to get lost?
05-25-2012 06:48 PM
srad600 The spot from the pics I showed in this post is right off Hampton Rd. We got on Hampton from 206 right at the ranger station and its not far up hampton on the right side.
05-25-2012 02:49 PM
Lineman827 theres alot of entrances. off 206 by atsion lake, off nesco rd by batsto is where i went in last weekend to kayak, and prob gonna go in that way this wknd. im not real familiar w/the area or where all the fire roads go.
05-25-2012 02:34 PM
Nickdarocha Where is this. Off of wat road? Just wondering me a couple of friends r thinking of going soon
