gonzoman Incidentally FlyingM is the LSJC membership Director. But rumor has it that his wife Betterhalf and club treasurer does most of his work.

The Powder Puff Run that LSJC holds is always a lot of fun. My daughter normally drives at this event, and was a trail leader of one of the groups at last year's event. She is working this year, so I may be a gunner for the medium group wearing grass skirt and coconut bra. You don't have to be a formal club member to attend; all are welcome.

busemans If my kids can't go then the wife and I don't go. It's always been like that for us, even in the car clubs

dfwislander Nice to see you here. Hope you will keep updates here and maybe your FB page. Just too many forums to add yet another one and try to keep up with it. FB you could set up "events" people subscribe to going to.

gonzoman Good to hear Busemen. Forgive my ignorance, I am not really good with computers. But if you have kids make sure to bring them! We get made fun of for being a G rated club. But its nice to see kids learning the ropes out there and having a great time at the runs. Heck, my 14 year old daughter can drive my twin stick CJ well! She has basically been raised in the club.

gonzoman Check us out, we would love to have you. Every one of our runs has at least 1 beginners group, lead by an experienced trail leader. Its totally up to you and your comfort zone what group you wheel with. We never push or taunt people beyond their comfort levels and we never leave anyone behind.

One of my favorite runs is the annual Powder Puff run. This run is specifically for our lady Jeepers. And believe me, we have some serious lady Jeepers in the club! Any men who show up wanting to drive are required to wear a dress while they do it!

Feel free to PM me for details. Or check out our forum to get a feel for what we are about.

gonzoman busemans, I will look for you on our forum! Yeah, it sounds like you might be a ways away. We are planning a run in your neck of the woods this year. You should join us.

dfwislander, LSJC differs in that we do not have chapters. We are concentrated in the Metroplex, however, we have members all over the place. Last time I checked we actually had a couple members in Australia. lol

Come check us out. We are extremely active and typically have 2 official club runs a month with many smaller events and get together going on all the time.
05-25-2012 11:25 PM
dfwislander Which chapter? I've been considering checking out the one in DFW.
05-25-2012 11:16 PM

If anyone has questions about LSJC feel free to let me know.
