silver rubi Had the jeep checked out at the dealer post genuinely hitting the cement wall. The fog lights broke away where they connected to the bumper. I was sore as hell but the Jeep was fine..

I generally hate to be that guy, but if you had genuinely hit a cement wall at 60 MPH, non-functional fog lights would be the least of your Jeeps' concerns.

arizonaTJ Then my guess would be that the wires are finding contact somewhere, I would find the wires and follow them as far as you can and see if they have any exposed parts or any weak connections. If thats not your problem I don't think I could help much more, just my recommendation.

silver rubi Thanks. I'll look at it tonight. Appreciate the help!

arizonaTJ Is it a constant flashing or is it somewhat random?

If its constant my best guess would be that its your jeeps computer realizing there is nothing on the other end of those wires and telling you the driver that your fogs are disconnected (this happened on a 95 grand cherokee I had, I had an accident and as a result took the fogs off but the light blinked constantly, installing new ones made it stop).

If its random it might just be at certain times those wires find a contact somewhere and then your computer thinks they are on so it turns the cluster light on.

Hope this helps!

Help me!! Cluster issues

I have a 2006 Wrangler Rubicon. I no longer have the fog lights on the front due to an unfortunate incident with a cement wall at 60 miles per hour... However, the fog light icon on the cluster constantly blinks whether the switch is in the on or off position. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to be able to reconnect fog lights to my jeep soon, but I want to make sure it's not going to short them out or anything to that effect.. Please help me.
