Eichster I've had mine for about 1.5 years now and love it. I've got the trail mesh that covers the front and back it really helps on the hot summer days.

Mr.Dave I am looking to sell mine, if anyone is interested. It was brand new last summer, I used it one time and didnt like it. It is for the unlimited, black. I will sell it for 65 shipped.

I suppose you could do either but I like the way it looked with the bolt facing down and the wing nut hidden in the soundbar holes.

Maybe a bit, but thankfully I can still feel the breeze.

TexasJeepGirl On the back corners you have to really pull it and work it sort of in between the sound bar plastic and the roll bar, as much as you can. Mind the wiring harness on the passenger side.

I had a tough go of it the first time I installed it as well. Not sure why it was so hard, but the first time I didn't climb up onto the jeep like the girl in the video did...I tried to do it standing on the ground. The second time I did it exactly like she did...I was standing in the back of the jeep...perhaps I gained some mechanical advantage. Just a thought.

Did you watch the installation video on spiderwebshade's website? Also lay the shade out in full mid-day sunlight for an hour before you install it as it'll stretch a bit and make it easier on you

Yup, black with lime green, see earlier post.

SWS gives a military discount and ships same day. I don't know about vendors.

I asked Mike how he got it latched and he said he just pushed it closed through the shade. But if anyone else has a trick for closing it, he would love to know what it is! He doesn't want to stretch it out or anything the next time he wants to take the panels off.

Sorry I wasn't able to help!
Yup. I did the same. Just pushed that latch through the shade. It's a slippery enough material and its not hard to do and it leaves no mark on the shade from doing it this way.
