Yeah, just go in and ask for Darren. He is the sales manager so be prepared to deal with the good/bad part of dealing directly with the boss. The good part is that he is really down to earth, a fellow Wrangler owner and really fair. The bad part is that he is really busy and hard to get ahold of. Forget about calling and trying to talk to him, he always has people coming in/out of his office. With that said, I would use this forum to price out the Jeep you want, go in with the invoice price and he can generally knock 2% off right from the start (1% from the tread lightly). You'l literally spend less than 5 minutes discussing price. The majority of the time you'll be talking about jeeps and placing your order. Tell him that Louis sent you and he'll take care of you. I have sent several people to him and they all have had a great experience and have gotten the best price from him compared to anyone else around. Good luck.

HOOZNEXT You are correct R4D4R. Thanks for the clarification. I am planning on calling Chrysler Affiliates later to try and get clarification on the fact that I was told that in order to get "Tread Lightly" deal (Chrysler Affiliate Prfogram) I had to get the financing thru jeep and that I couldn't go and get it from another bank of my choosing. Also as of last night, the jeep that i was trying to get is currently a demo and is being used by the owner of the freehold, NJ dealership. So there is another one they are going to see if it's available in Bayside, NY. except that one does not have tow package or side air bags. I'm starting to think I may wait till they start taking orders on the 2013, which I think starts in August. Let me know what anyone thinks and if anyone knows when they start taking orders for 2013 since dealer told me they stopped taing orders for 2012 two weeks ago.

What you are using is not "The Tread Lightly Discount".
Chrysler does not deal directly with Tread Lightly. If you are a member of TL you can use their Chrysler Affiliate's Program, which the dealer will recognize

See chrysleraffiliates.com for more information

HOOZNEXT Accidentally sent previous reply before finishing it. Anyway the price they gave me was $37,588 plus tax. Btw "they" is Browns Jeep in Patchogue.

Matador Go to another dealer. I have a great contact over at Merrick Dodge, Jeep. The sales manager is a good honest guy. Let me know if your interested and I'll give you his info.

HOOZNEXT I REALLY hate being lied to!!! If they're offering a great rate then fine, I'd finance with them, but don't tell me I HAVE to in order to get a deal!

R4D4R False. You can finance through whomever you wish. Through them, your own bank, credit union, pay cash, whatever.

New jeep

Buying a new jeep unlimited rubicon and using tread lightly (TL) and salesman said I had to finance thru jeep if I used TL. Is this true? If not where can I find it stated or not stated or who should I call for an answer? Any help would be great. They are getting truck from bayside tomorrow for me to look at.
