I suppose it also depends on what you can afford; personally I'm gonna take the $200 and put it towards saving for air lockers.

A lot of my own projects have been put off to due to the heat or bizarre rain we've been getting. I don't have a garage to work in so I'm out in the sun anytime I want to work on something. I'm getting an awesome tan though haha.
We agree.. I dislike humidity more as well. And we agree on the other stuff too. it comes down to a personal which cost do you want to pay, personal time or personal cash outta pocket.
I am guessing that I have a few years on you and my tanning days are well behind me (am 57)

I do have a backup but would rather drive the Jeep. Lastly, is the frequency of what I am going to do. If this is a "one-off" affair, I know that the time to complete this the first time is likely going to be at least 2X to 3X the time if I were to do it a second time. So the $200 difference to bring my Jeep with the carpet and seats removed to Linex and to get it back done the same day, well to me thats a very reasonable price to pay.. so I am stuck for now with doing spark plugs, etc.. did do a Poison Spyder hood louver.. and it should be noted that 9 months out of the year, I do have pretty much all day in the garage..

Mainly because as it sits right now the door sill is at my hip so my wife will never be able to get it without a step ladder.

It took me 2 days. First day I prepped the tub which took about 8-10 hours. The second day I rolled it which the first coat took about 3 hours and the second coat took about 2 hours. It was a long 2 days and a lot of work.

----------------

Today I'm going to try and finish painting my stock wheels. I did my spare and so far I am extremely pleased with the results. They'll match my grill too and I am considering painting the fenders while I'm at it.

I cleaned the wheels really well with some Purple Power; from there I did a light sanding with 400 grit paper and degreased a final time. Then I applied 3 coats of self etching primer--I let each coat sit for about 20 minutes, the final coat dried for about an hour before I began applying black caliper paint.
I applied 3 coats of caliper paint since it will stand up to the abuse and heat from braking; then I added two coats of a hammered black paint so it matches my grill. After about a day of drying I went out to look and am extremely happy.

I just need to add a couple coats of clear protectant and I'll be done. When I get some pictures I'll post them.

It sounds great! Just have to trim a little plastic for the magnet to fit right. I'm eventually going to add a new amp to my set up.

Jeffk1975 worked on installing the rear portion of the lift kit. Taking my time since the Teraflex adjustable front trackbar won't be here until Friday.
