|Jma20a||if you look at the pic that he put up you can see that at the connection between the snorkel tube and the upper piece there is a small slit to let any water drain before it has a chance at running down the tube.|

ah ok. one last hypothetical tho.
your fording thru some water with some speed. and a big splash of water goes into the tube. what happens to the water that actually made it in?
hope you dont mind the questions, but after a few skids i think this is next on my list of wants.

the ram has a bigger diameter than the tube inside and the tube goes up inside the ram.
the ram intake in constructed in a way that no raim water can get into the ram. and if water gets into the ram it will not come high enough to enter the tube.
this water will leave the ram thruogh the small slots you can see on this pic under the black hose clamp: http://www.commojeep.com/arbpics/ram1.jpg

|Jma20a||i might be wrong but, i think that the a/c compressor is in the way of the snorkel where it exits the factory air cleaner.|

|nicolas-eric||I only asked QT what has to be changed.|

Have you called ARB on this yet and asked them what's up?
I'd be really curious, I was considering ARB's snorkel kit for my next mod. A co-worker of mine's best friend is the North East Regional Sales rep. over here so I'm waiting to make a large order in the near future.

ARB Safari Snorkel with A/C ?
The Quadratec.com part description of the "ARB Safari Snorkel" says:
"Modifications to the stock air box are needed to use this kit with Air Conditioning."
What exactly does that mean? What has to be modified?
Do you have a manual or a write-up (with pics) where I can see what i would have to change at the air box?
Do I need some more parts for these changes?
Please help me, Iīd like to order the parts as fast as possible.
Thanks in advance.
