Well it was another great run. They doubled the amount of participants at this event. 76 vehicles total, registered and ran. I had the honor (volunteer) of leading one of the three runs that were available to the participants. It was the SUV run that qualifies just about anyone with a 4WD. But that's OK since I do not have the rig that can run the more difficult trails. Four full days of eating dust and I enjoyed it. I was not able to take too many pics because my copilot did not show up until Sunday. The event hired a photographer to set up at one of the obstacles to photograph anyone who wanted to try it. There were several obstacles and all had go-rounds for those who chose not to try it. We had TJ's, YJ's, KJ's and yes an FJ all on the SUV run. Some where during the course of the weekend I bent my pass side lower CA bracket on the axle. I never knew it happened and dont know how I did it.

High Sierra Poker Run 8/29-31/08
I went on this run last year, it was a BLAST. They have a good food and a raffle too. Runs from mild to extreme. Its definitely worth the trip. There were half a dozen or so from Socal who keep coming back year after year.
Link to pics of last year. http://s269.photobucket.com/albums/j...20Sierra%2007/
