|98 tj sport||Ok were is a good place to get the high and low beam combo the po of my jeep put a kit in but they are only low beam and I would like to have both.|

|commodore_dude||That's definitely the best quality solution. I decided that I didn't want to fear breaking a Cibie on a rock or something, so I went with IPF housings. Still very good, and it wouldn't be as much of a tragedy if one broke|

|clarkkent||I went with Cibies and H4 bulbs through Daniel Stern. With the upgraded harness|

Was also looking to upgrade my headlights, but thinking of going with those SilverStars or the Philips X-treme power lights.
Going to add a couple long-range blindingly bright KCs in the coming months, but looking for a basic change to the headlights themselves, something simple and under $50

but as commodore_dude said, there is a significant voltage drop through the stock harness for any headlight not using a harness/relay setup.

|commodore_dude||H4 housings are plug and play, however there is about a 2v drop through the stock wiring, so many of us have also added a new wiring harness directly from the battery. Even the stock sealed beams are brighter with that upgrade, but a wiring harness + Ecodes + good H4 bulbs is the way to go.|

|Sloan409||E-code headlights with 55watt HIDs in 4500k, at least 30x brighter than stock and relatively cheap at $50 for the HID kit and about $40 for the headlights|

I want to have better visibility from my headlights. Brighter and clearer I'm not familiar with different types of systems with Jeeps (halogen, HID, xenon, etc..) Does anyone have any suggestions?
