Muddybumpers Vin, I have ordered everything but the mounting bracket. Gonna try to mount it directly on the spare tire mount or try the lug nut mount.

Dextreme I fabricated a mount off my spare tire lugnuts. Works great! My pole/whip is Stainless steel, so I used air fittings for a quick disconnect and then leave the mount on all the time.

Oh and another nice thing with this design is that the whip won't bang against the Jeep.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I'm using a Teraflex bracket. I've had my CB antenna on there already. It actually has 2 holes, so I just mounted the flag next to the antenna.

Sorry, I lost track if this thread. Yes, I've been in the highway. I've been up to 70 but usually cruising around 60. the flag pictured is 2x3.

Muddybumpers Thanks...Im thinking of welding this: Premier Designs Adjustable House Flag Bracket | Wayfair

to a 2'x1' metal plate that will sit under the rear seat.... hoping the flag will fit between my trunk and rear seat. ??? Any thoughts on this idea!?

TJ Rear flag mount

I am wanting to rig a way to fly an American flag out of the back of my TJ. Does anyone know of a DIY way to make this happen? Prefer a way that doesn't involve the hitch....
