Trendsetter75 I wonder when they make the next new batch of Wranglers upcoming if they will look like Kia Souls like they ruined the Cherokees if anyone will wave to them.

FlCrkr I wave at every Jeep that I see and probably get about 40% wave back. It seems to be a 50-50 split between who waves back, men or women, women seem to do a bigger wave, where men just kinda do a lift the hand up wave.

Nativeindian_15 My favorite thing is when I'm driving and someone on the side of the road or in a parking lot waves, because probably 95% of the time you know they are a jeeper

This is probably the most true statement I've read so far

macintux Jeep is a state of mind as much as anything. Quit yer bellyaching and enjoy your ride, whatever era it may hail from.

mijeeper80 As far as all this crap about yj's not being "real jeeps" that's a load of crap! Before I bout my yj I had similar feelings but when I found the jeep I liked I picked my yj because it was made back when you could work on them. I looked under the hood of a tj and it looked like a Subaru. "Real jeeps" are jeeps YOU can work on not your mechanic for 150 dollars an hour. When you ride in a jeep you should feel like your really driving it, bouncing and all, not sitting in a coil springed luxury vehicle with ac and gps and seat warmers

dewey7015 I used to get mad that they didn't get it..same as when I am on my zzr1200 Kawi, and wave to the Harley CEO types..now, as I get older, I prefer the "they just don't get it" mentality..lol

EPM81 NYC area here. Absolutely no wave... Well ok it's not zero. I've gotten 1 wave and it was a TJ. You just get weird looks when you wave. One guy thought I was flipping him off. Haha.
07-27-2014 07:20 PM
Digger70 I get a wave 20% of the time.
