a slight odor might indicate a leak depending what the smell is. if it's a musty smell your drain line might be a little clogged preventing water from draining therefore creating a funky smell.

|Leeroy Jeepkins||if it won't hold a charge there is probably a decent leak in the system. put some real gauges on it (not that single crappy auto store gauge). pressure test it with dry nitrogen and you will find it. if it's a 90's jeep it's probably the evap coil. replaced mine two months ago and it sucked and took forever. good luck|

|Patrick H||Have him put some dye in it. Run it for a day and check with an ultraviolet light. (If he does A/C work he'll have this).|

I'm here in Texas and my A/C won't hold a charge. I have had a friend who does ac work look into it with sniffing around to find any leaks but nothing. I'm looking for anytips to what this could be?
