YJ-TJ-JK I personally have the Wild boar fast-back 1 piece top. It was installed at their headquarters by them in Stanton, CA and does still have leaks on the front corners. I went thru a drive-thru car wash and the leak wasn't that bad. I can likely fix it myself with little extra weather stripping. It would probably do them better to do this in advance to avoid bad reviews but not really an issue caused by them.

uhear I posted about my WildBoar problems last week. Let me add that it leaks. Very poor design on the front connection. They literally say to tuck the front bracket under the rubber windshield gasket. Picture of the bracket is on my post.

tmattprice DevilDawg,

Do you have both power boards plus rocker protection, or are you just using the power boards for ease of entry? I was toying with the idea of incorporating both power boards and rocker panel guards in some capacity, even if that meant modifying the boards.

Just curious what you're running.

HAFICON Well I just spoke with a nice lady at Wild Bore products and she quoted me an estimate of 2400ish +shipping for a 4dr solid top on my 2012. Price seems pretty good compared to the factory hard top being about the same cost.

j0nx The retailer sells the part, they don't warranty the part...

The manufacturer is the only one who will do that and good luck getting them to reimburse you for any time or money spent figuring out and fixing the leak if you should have one.

DevilDawg I agree with the TrekTop soft top version as I currently own one, but now want to have a more permanent hard top due to the noise caused by the 37" tires and the XRC fenders. I'm going to visit the retailer that sells these at in South Florida. Will ask for warranties for leak issues brought up in this thread. Thanks for your help and advice.

CiDZillA I think the Wild Boar Fastback looks very cool but damn it's expensive. If I could afford unlimited I'd have one of these for winter months.

I have the Trektop NX which is the same style just in a soft top. Very awesome on the 2DR or 4DR.

To each their own. There's not much about the 4-door that looks right to me in general...although, I do think it looks slighty better with a fastback/trektop. But not better than the 2 door .

I can appreciate the 4 door, though, for sure.

New2012JEEP That green jeep looks awesome! I like the tent look in the back area of the oem softops though. Reminds me of M.A.S.H.

Cosmic Charlie This is a good looking set up right here. Expensive, but extremely versatile.

ilikeguns when i did some searching last year, I found a few negative reviews about it leaking and some poor customer support. If you do a google search for "wildboar fastback leak" you'll see a few threads.

That being said.. they look awesome..

Six I've read from others on here that it leaks. That could just be forum here say though.

pkmcd99 Wild boar makes exceptional products. Their bumpers are a bit over the top, but definitely genuine. The camper top they offer looks great also. Get an NX Trek top, and see if you like the loss of space before you commit to a 3k fast back hard top.

Wild Boar Fastback Hard Top

I am really interested in buying this hardtop for my JK but have not heard any reviews on it as of yet. Did see another JK on the road and it looked amazing. They also sell a cargo rack that can be integrated with the hard top as well, but don't know if I can use with my XRC fenders.

Does anyone have any comments or reviews on the Wild Boar products?
