Baby Huey When I first bought this "new" jeep I found that it was not the same old Jeep I was used to and there had been a ton of changes since MOPAR took over.. So to Educate myself I bought a bunch of those 4x4 and off road type magazines....I even sub to em all to see what each has to offer (since I don't get the the grocery store mag rack much.. ). Now I am starting to get RENEW notices....So it's time to CULL em out.
JP - is a keeper
4 wheeler- Maybe
Off Road- Nope, too much truck stuff...although some does apply to Jeep as well.
Perterson's 4 wheel and off road- nope, lots of truck and buggy stuff
4Wheel Drive Magazine- Keeper, good stories, great trail pics and info.
Now I'm not saying that the ones I will not renew are NO GOOD....Far from it, just hit and miss on stuff that interests me.
I like the Electrical articles (thats my weakness when trouble shooting ) so when I get to a magazine rack, I'm always thumbing thru them looking for stuff that Actually pertains to me...
I like Nuts and Bolts and Fabricating. I have a pretty good shop of my own and I been in that business for 40 years, so It's what I like to do...Build my own.
Yes, This forum and others are very good sources also...
Sorry I got carried away here..... Good Luck ! "BH"

DannyV I read an issue of JP and of Peterson's and I like them both. The Peterson's seems to be more technical (IMO). I like the Jeep focus of JP as that is of course what I drive but, I think there are some ideas to be had from the other rigs out there. Are there any other good magazines out there?

Noshow13 I also like JP magazine.

Geno I like JP. It doesnt seem to be as bad of just a product pusher as the rest. JMO.

Jeep/Off-road magazines

Do any of you read off-road magazines (aside from parts catalogs) Which do you all like and why?
