timmysixgun Ok so i finally received my OME springs and need clarification on bump stops. The guide in the link above says 2" bump stop. That means factory bump stop and cup with 2" spacer?

timmysixgun Wow! You people are great! Thanks for the help. I'll read those threads when I get home and start measuring.

UnlimitedLJ04 Measure the springs:
FAQ - Coil spring measurements - JeepForum.com

Measure the distance from the spring pad base to the bumpstop cup
bumpstops, shock length, and tires size. help me iron out the fuzzy points.. - JeepForum.com

that will tell you how much lift, and how much bumpstop extensions should be installed to prevent the shocks from bottoming out, which will tell you what length shocks to buy.

Do not buy lift shocks based on lift height, buy based on compressed shock length. Do this both front and rear.

zeprider25 looks like a 4 inch to me. If those tires are 32's or 33's definately around 4 inch.

How to figure out lift height

Hello all. I am new to this forum and new to jeeps. I just purchased a 2000 tj that is lifted. I want to replace the shocks, springs & bushings but don't know how to determine what ones to get without knowing the size of the lift. PO was not around to ask. Are there any measurements I should take to figure this out? Thanks for any help you can provide.
