|mac3kuby||I know. But they come factory matching the green body color. I am about to post some pics on here of my new top that may be better than what I have here. I dunno, I will give it a few months and see how I feel. If I want to go black it will only take a few more coats. OR if it looks like crap I can just take the panels off.|

Painted rocker panels
So I did it. I painted my Sahara green panels tan. I used Krylon saddle tan. I only did these panels because I want to test them first before doing my fender flares. I figure the 90 degree plus Alabama August with humidity will be a pretty good test so if these hold up I will paint all the fenders next spring. I sanded first with 220, cleaned with paint thinner, then painted 3 coats. I sanded between with 320. It has a few runs but from 5 feet looks great, which is what I was going for. Here are pics.
First is a before. Second is a sanded pic.
The rest are after pics, you can see that my fenders need attention too.
