Pro Comp 7069 with Goodyear MTRs. I liked the soft 8's, but didn't want the weight of the steel or the shine. These fit the bill.

Ah okay. Yep like XJ said they're not as common, especially when an 8" wheel will work well.

Border Dave These aren't the ones I have, but I kinda like the Black Rock Desperados:

XJ Knight 15x8.5's aren't as common as a 15x8 that is why you don't see to manny of them around. That being said no issue with running that size if you can find one that you like

gsueagle2424 Thanks for the quick replies! I'm sold, now to convince the other half that it is a "necessity."

IslandTJ The 8" wheel will generally hold a bead better on a 12.5" tire vs. a 10" wheel.

XJ Knight A 8-9 inch wide wheel is what is recomended for a 12.5in wide tire for those that air down. 10in is good for street use. 15x8 is very common around here for those that run a 15in wheel

InvertChaos 33x12.50x15 on a 15x8 wheel. Some tire shops will say don't so it, but it works great and you can air down lower than with a 15x10 wheel.

12.5" on 8" rims

I know most of the sites i've looked at have a recommended rim width of at least 8.5" for 12.5" tires.

Does anyone else have 12.5 on 8 rims? Can I see a picture? Just curious how it looks.
