JimsJeep There is a freeze plug there on my 2.5 so I would assume the 4.0 would have one there.

Hockeygeek21 There is only like 2 inches between the firewall and the plug. And there is supposed to be coolant coming out there right?

JimsJeep You can pick up a complete set at most chain stores (NAPA or the like) for under 20 bucks so you don't have to sweat picking the correct plug. Typically you just pry out the old or puncture with a screwdriver then pry. To install just clean all surfaces on the opening and tap in with a hammer. If you have room use a block of hard wood or similar to prevent damaging the new plug.

Engine Question

1983-2002 Jeep® 2.5L (150ci) Inline 4 Cylinder Engine Replacement Parts - Quadratec

So is 22 on this chart a freeze plug? And how do I go about replacing it because coolant is leaking out of it.
