|Chomperz||I also have the 13"Antenna X. I love it. I was going to get the 5", but didn't like the idea of possible loss of reception. With the 13", when I'm in the driver's seat, I only see the top 3" of it.When I'm on the highway, it bends rearward a little bit and pretty much disappears behind the right A pillar.|

Mine curves also after being on the freeway. It's so strange. But it straightens back out on its own pretty quickly.
I've had no problems with reception but I live in the city with pretty good reception everywhere.

|Dwoodworker||I bought the 13" stubby but lost reception and 1 station my wife listened to plus it had a curve in it after driving on freeway it would straighten to some degree. I cut the factory antenna down and use it got her station back .|

|That Jeep Guy||
I went with AntennaX because they simply mailed it to me.
It looks as if it belongs on the Jeep and works as well as the original antenna.
(Caveat: I never listen to the radio. But others here on the forum do)

Thanks al!! I was concerned about the vendor-war thing when I posted. Sorry about that but am curious about the RedRock brand. It sure seems that both these supporting companies are excellent.
Although I have not used AntennaX yet they are getting high grades here on the forum. I can personally vouch for the excellence of Extreme Terrain (XT) having received top-notch quality products and tremendous customer service.

I'm really liking what I've read here about AntennaX, and ready to buy. But, I already bought stuff from ExtremeTerrain and wondering what the difference is between the two. Here is the one on ET: RedRock 4x4 Wrangler Off-Road 13" Shorty Antenna J100997 (07-14 Wrangler JK) - Free Shipping
Can I ask this here? Is that OK?
