Good luck with working with the state. I am federal govt contrator myself and I know how much pain that is. Please let me know if I can help with anything. Thanks!

Assateague isn't a "trail". It's a beach area that can be driven on with the proper ($) permit. Currently about 90% of the OSV area is closed due to nesting birds that are an endangered species.

There are no offroad areas in Md unless you drive on the beach on Assateague Island. The passes are $120 for a yearly pass.

We are currently working with the state of Maryland to open areas for offroading in Md. Any other trails in Maryland are illegal without expressed written permission from the land owner.

Which trail in WV do you go to? I might join if it fits my schedule and if you do not mind.

Off roading in Maryland

Ok, so I bought a bright white 2012 Rubicon 20 days ago and I already put 3000 miles on it driving on the city roads. I absolutely love it.

Now, I wanna do some off road driving. I live in Downtown and if you are interested in doing something in and around maryland over weekends, please reply/pm me.

I am an absolute beginner at this whole off roading and Jeep life style. But I am quite adventurous (I think).
