kayburr Thanks everyone! A lot to consider. I'll definitely take it out on a couple trails to figure out exactly how much lift I want! Thanks!

Jared66 Talk to north shore off road. Or jeap thrills just on the north end of the golden ears bridge if u wanna get the work done. Or custom truck parts in port kells for the kit if u want to do it yourself. Thats the best places that i know of.

Jared66 Yo. Before you choose a lift. Go hit some trails to see how far you want to push your rig. Go up the west side of stave off dewdney trunk road in maple ridge. Sylverster road in mission( when u head north it eventually turns to gravel, and then never ends). Or west harrison past the sasquach inn past the turn off to go up to hemlock mountain resort. Orrr. Up eagle mountain at the top of Westwood plateau in coquitlam. Or where ever else you can find. I learned real quick how high i want to be to get to where i want to go.

87yjman the first tree hurts the worst! but really burr it depends on how much u wanna spend and how high you wanna go. rustys is where i got my springs from but i home built my jeep. budget boost spacers can clear 33. but anything bigger and your gonna have to get a kit for the tj. happy hunting

1st time Jeep owner from Vancouver Island, suggestions please!

Hey everyone,
I have a 98 TJ in great condition. Haven't done too much work to it yet but I have many plans for the future. Any suggestions on lift kits or tires would be greatly appreciated. I was looking at getting 33s and maybe a 3inch lift but I'm not too sure yet. Looking to take my beast 4x4ing asap.
