meili34 I hope she's ok...I heard on the news that there's and outbreak of meningitis. Weather isn't supposed to be too great this weekend. Could we rain check?

jeepmonkey06 Ok. Change of plans. Might not be going. My girlfriend woke up and can't move her neck, at all. Going to try the doctor today. Hope she feels better quick. I really want to go camping and off roading.

meili34 Not sure yet if I could go this weekend, but any time y'all are goin wheeling or camping I'd love to join. Sadly, my jeep is bone stock and my DD, so I'm not sure I could keep up...

jeepmonkey06 33s and 3.5" lift. Not a beast but she sure as hell holds her own.

JeepAddOns-Chris My GF is a bit cold natured. If it drops below 75 she's looking for a ski suit, lol. My opinion is... that's what a camp fire and frosty beverages are for.

I need to do a shake down run to see how the new ladder bar setup on my rig is going to hold up. Have a big week long trip coming up later this month. I'll hopefully know for sure tomorrow. What's the specs on your rig?
10-04-2012 03:11 PM
jeepmonkey06 We've only been there once. We were solo so we didn't venture too far. We'll probably camp at the gorge. We have "our" spot there if it's unoccupied. I'd love to have someone join us that knows the place. And it won't be that cold. 15· is cold.
10-04-2012 02:45 PM
JeepAddOns-Chris Where are ya staying and what trails are you planning on hitting? It's supposed to get cold Saturday and Sunday night. I might be up for something though.

Bluegrass Dirty Turtle Trip with with Louisville Area Jeep Owners on the 15th ! Look us up on Facebook..

Bluegrass still rocking 31's till they wear out so that might take a bit unless i can find someone to trade for some good 33's.... can't waste good tires. But i do have a 4.5in skyjacker lift so might have to try out Harlan. Not really interested in Mud pit's so Bills is out. I really like DTOR but it is pretty pricey. Guess i need to find someone that is good with Natural Bridge. Still waiting for bills to clear up before I get my winch and my Tranny is not the best so getting to serious on the trail right now is not in the cards.

2JeepsThatRun Bills 491 is all mud and I'm not a big fan. Natural bridge could possibly be the best wheeling around from mild to wild its free but if your not familiar with the trails don't go without someone who is. And harlan is where I've heard 33s are minimum and at least a 3.5 lift im not big enough to even want to go there but ppl who are big enough that went love the place and DTOR is a great place for a pay and play. If you want go to my clubs page ORFW.org and there is a big list of places we go and some have directions and I think reviews.

Bluegrass How are those other parks compared to DTOR?

06-28-2012 04:30 PM
JeepAddOns-Chris It's gonna be a hot one this weekend. It will definitely be a test of the rig's coolant systems!

06-27-2012 11:22 PM
Zetsumei That's awesome! I'd love to have something like that right near me. Even just riding around like that, really mild stuff, is fun. I love taking my Jeep for night rides to look at the stars too, so that'd be a great thing to have near me.

I actually live in Lexington and go to UK right now. Haven't really been able to get off road much. Hoping to get up to Dirty Turtle and just anything really.

For sure. A small get together would be huge! Maybe we can find somewhere or sometime to plan something and just meet up, show off our Jeeps and plan other things.
