bmpage84 Fair Warning! The road may still be listed as a "Town road/public way" but Google "Coy Hill" and read all the political/environmental bullsh*t that's been going on in those towns about it, including the EP's recommendation to totally close the area. It's been a real hotspot over the past several years and the EP's have been all over it issuing fines and trespass charges.

Prendville Rd, Old Warren Rd and Day Rds are still listed as a town roads so as long as you stay on the road it is legal.

Tiki Dave Heather,
This is the trail MassJeeps and I ran that day when we were all to meet at Janine's Frostee in Ware.

It's a lot of fun....not to easy and not to hard. Stockers should be able to run it.

We will have to do another meet up there and run it.

Slidapenguin Tiki I love the blue! That trail looks like a lot of fun.

Tiki Dave Ran the "road" up at Coy Hill tonight, seems the thunderstorms and heavy down pours have changed the terrain again. Always an adventure at that place. Deep mud, large boulders, loose rock and let's not forget deep pond size puddles that come half way up the doors.
Will post pics later.
Have to set up a get together up there again. More fun with friends.

I have driven these roads for years ( and still do) and have kept the place clean of trash and junk cars.
My advise: Do use it every weekend.
don't take large groups up there.
stay on the roads.

Rich.
It doesn't sound very challenging when we talk about "roads" but these roads are all dirt, boulders, washed out sections, mud bogs etc.... Massjeeps and I had a blast on the "roads" and like you said .. legal!

I would like to get some more folks together to do another run there but like you said... not TOO many..

Hope to see you out there sometime.

Dave
