The Low Voltage Cutoff is an option (which is a no brainer to me) and from what I understand is now integrated into the sPod Source (the fuse/relay box) if so ordered.

|GREEN-MACHINE||question about the s-pod,,, is there a trigger wire to turn the box on, or do you just run it directly off the battery|

|Osage Orange||I like the idea of the switches being up and out of the way in a centralized location. Very clean and professional looking from what Ive seen.|

I have the sPOD as well AT this point I have one switch left
A mechanic at the Stealership, said it was the best addition yet, to my Jeep. He said taping into the "wiring harness" on new vehicles is the WORST thing you can do. He said it usually screws-up the micro-processors, which in turn communicate with the PCM (or whatever you call the master controller)
He said "I probably saved myself some REAL head-aches" buy using the sPOD

My issue with the lights and other components is that that switches dont match. Also, with a Manual transmission, getting the wires through the washer fluid hole is something you only want to do once. That was an ordeal. The auto's firewall has a larger hole.

|Peepers||It all depends on how you want it to look... I have more functionality out of my switch panel, which looks clean inside the jeep, but is a little more "carried away" under the hood. But it gets the job done. And it only cost about $50. maybe $100 if your lights don't come with their own relays and switches.|

I think it comes down to weather you have enough things to attach to it, and how concerned you are that your dealer may give you a hard time about the warranty.
Overall tho, I havent seen a set up that looks as good. The rugged ridge pillar switches looked cheap to me, and installing one switch at a time with other single switches I thought might not look uniform.

|the Kolector||That's the first time I have actually seen the Spod. Very nice setup, I just can't justify the cost. Would love to have one though.|

S-POD Unboxing and Installation
I posted a while back trying to figure out what to do about getting the Viair compressor installation completed without using their switch. I went with the S-POD and Im glad I did. The only downside is that i have 5 switches left, so just when I thought I was done spending money on this obsession, now I have to buy 5 more things to connect to it!
Why do it with only one switch? First, Im sure there will be more, and second, I didnt want to do anything to the electrical system of my truck. Second, I'm freightend by others stories in this forum about how dealerships and chrysler will go out of their way to void a warranty, and with the electrical system they can see anything attached to it and say that it was the problem. Best to just eliminate that nightmare. (especially since i bought the extended warranty).
The system is supposed to look OEM when its installed, and from what I can see, it lives up to that claim, The parts are all metal, and of the pieces that go in the cabin, they are powdercoated with a textured black that matches the headliner where it sits, perfectly.
