It was maybe 2-3 feet.

and checking my blinker fluid was the first thing I did, it was full. Maybe I should drain some fluid out and they won't blink anymore?

General Confusion You may have water in one of the rear light clusters causing a short.

BlackJack7 I don't see how it would have gotten in there but that is my next step. I'm going to take it apart tomorrow and see if I can find anything else. It only stops when I press the brakes or turn the Jeep off.

jeepwayoflife Could you have gotten water inside the turn signal switch or the hazard lights switch?

hazard lights

Well I was taking my dogs to the lake a little bit ago so they could swim and the ditch I usually drive through was flooded due to all the rain we've had here. Well I just strolled right through it and parked on the other side where I usually do and unleashed the dogs and let them go.

Well when I was leaving I put the key in the ignition and turned it forward and I immediately heard a clicking noise like the turn signal was on. I moved the switch up and down to see if it would turn off and had no luck. I turned the hazard switch on and off and it didn't work either. The arrows on the dash aren't flashing but both tail lights are flashing when the key is turned forward.

Any ideas?
