Wordgie I have a 7 year old and a 21 year old. When my oldest was 8 I had a leased '98 and she loved it. On road and off road. My ex about blew a gasket the first time she saw her in the front with no doors on.

My wife isn't too hip on the youngest riding in it, much less with the top off. But she loves it. I get yelled at when it's time to brush her hair, though.

Now my oldest drives it any chance she can, but she hates gassing it up. Her car was down for a few days so she had to drive it to work and school. At the beginning stages of Debby.

Looks like mine they always pass out.
Mine love it as long as their hair is pulled up and hairsprayed down! The interstate sont even bother them. I make them wear sunglasses too. Just got to remember sunscreen.

Wirenuting My grandkids love top/doorless.
They say it's better then a roller coaster.
I just make them wear quality sun glasses.

Scarlet Begonia I have 6 and 9 year old kids and since my Jeep is my DD riding in it has become routine. My daughter and I keep ponytails on the gear shift and they have jackets shoved under the seat for those chilly mornings. They do keep bugging me to take the doors off, tho .

Razorcat Well, my kids are grown, but I do have 2 grandsons (ages 4 & 2) that think PaPa's Jeep is the coolest thing ever. The two year old was at the house Saturday morning. It was rainy so he couldn't go outside. But he kept asking me to hold him up to the window just so he could see the Jeep. I think the smiles show how they like it.

klkb My boys, 15, 14 and 11, like it to a certain point, as far as I can tell. I think they'll love it when the hardtop comes off, but right now it's clunky and not smooth like the Sequoia I had before. I told my 14-y-o that the Jeep for me is like his skateboard is for him. He got it. My 15-y-o hated it until I told him he'd probably drive it when he gets his license, and all of a sudden he loved it. Of course he was mad when I told him I was just kidding... Really, though, I think they'll love it when it's all opened up. Taking the Freedom Panels off is just teasing them.

My Lab, however, won't let me out of his sight if I put my shoes on and go toward my keys. He puts his paws on the center console and sticks his head out of the top.

Added one of these to the same spot the standard belt latches bolt through the floor (I got it out of an old car in the junk yard and the buckle quit working, so I don't have it here at the moment)

I'll see if I can find a picture of it

LilYeller Mine are 4 and 6. They cant get enough of riding in the Jeep with top and doors off. When I have the top on my daughter (4) always asks why even if its raining. the second it stops raining she begs to take the top and doors off even if were in the middle of the road lol.

Con Artist I don't even know how I'm gonna like riding around in a Jeep without the top off, let alone my nieces (We don't have any children...)!

I can't wait to get my Jeep. I'll be able to report in a few weeks whether or not my nieces like it.

I'm still scratching my head...she wants to ride in the jeep topless (the jeep...watch it), but doesn't want a jeep & doesn't want a convertable, and they wonder why we don't understand them.
Find her a car with a t top setup?

I think my dog has a love/hate relationship with riding in the Jeep, but then again he's still getting use to it. With his facial expressions you can tell when he's enjoying himself, but on the other hand you can definitely tell when the wind is just too much and it's too cold for him (he rides in the back enclosed in a Safari Straps cargo system).

chopprr I have a five year old daughter, she loves riding with the top off. She ties her hair up and off we go.
I took her jeeping this weekend for the first time. She is hooked

CMEvans79 My kids love riding around town the the Jeep with no top or doors on... but when we get on the highway they bend down a little bit so the wind isn't as bad...

littlecow Any one with a jeep is loved. I don't know any one that would not want to ride in my jeep. They are just fun.
