You could do that with no problems. You could also get a new set of 3" springs but those will sag eventually as well.
Ok, your original post makes more sense now, you want to throw 4 in springs under there and with your added weight, end up with 3 in of lift when they're broken in. That may or may not work
My 5.5in springs for example, when they were new gave me over 6 in of lift until the settled to about 5 in.
So if you put new 4 in springs in, you might have d/l vibes, improper length bumpstops and brakelines till they settle....

|Jcole231||I already did and its still pretty bad. I was thinking of going up to 1.25". Another prob is in getting ready to install rear bumper/tire carrier with a full size spare that is going to add additional wright to the back|

what are you trying to do? why do you want another inch?
at 4" of lift, you'll need everything that is expected at that height...appropriate length shocks, bumpstop extensions, adjustable upper and lower control arms front and rear, alignment to set toe and caster, longer sway bar links, longer brake lines, CV driveshaft (requires SYE for NP231), adjustable track bars front and rear, rear track bar relocation bracket, and of course cycling the axle to full bump, full flex and full droop with the springs out. with larger tires, you'll need upgraded brakes and upgraded steering.

Currently have the 3" short arm teraflex suspension lift with a 1" inch BL. I would love to be able to add an inch by just changing the coil springs. Is that possible and if not what else would need to be changed? Thanks in advance
