2012 JK Front End Rattle!!

I have a new '12 Rubicon with 4" skyjacker lift with Mickey Thompson 35" tires. I only have about 4k miles on it and I was riding some trails a few weeks ago at a moderate speed over some small rough bumps and such. I noticed after that going down regular roads that my frond end rattles and shakes when hitting small bumps now such as railroad tracks and uneven surfaces. It seems to be the entire front end slapping around and I can feel it in my pedals. The noise seems to be metal on metal and the steering gets crazy when it happens. I checked the ball joints on the arms and all the basic things and the bushings seem ok from what I know and nothing looked out of the ordinary. I lifted it up in a shop and everything seems "okay" ... no leaks, no breaks, and struts seem to be in tact.... I'm curious if this may be normal or if there is something I can look at.
