Wish we could, next time for sure; have to get this next years round of college kids settled in up in Isla Vista so I can buy more stuff for the Jeep.
I'd love to tag along for the next Dishpan/Holcomb run; heard the fly fishing is pretty good in some of the streams in that area. My dad wants to make it as well. He rebuilt a nice 69' Bronco with 35's. Put a 4" lift on my JK with 35" tires so we are ready for some adventures!

|I H8RDS||That's a bummer...I've had to rush through Miller once before too. Sucks because the last part is the best. A handful of us will be out there this weekend if you'd like to join us. We'll be getting out to our base camp around 430pm.|

|CGibson||Great, thanks for the info. The kids will love this run, although way less exciting than the last one. We were up Miller when the fire broke out......very exciting. We had to haul A$$ up the last section to get out quick. Helicopters were flying over warning to get out.|

Nothing but easy fire road stuff up that way...but you have Agua Caliente Springs...
"See Painted Cave, an historical landmark featuring Chumash Indian rock art. Dirt road ends at picnic spot with unique hot spring pool, vault toilet and dressing area. A hiking trail leads to another hot spring. Trip concludes with a spectacular drive down Rattlesnake Canyon. Route passes Divide Peak OHV Area. (For ATVs and dirt bikes only.) First part of route is a narrow, winding, poorly maintained paved road. After that, a bumpy dirt road descends steeply into canyon. Suitable for any SUV. Very hot in summer. Day use only at hot springs. "

Santa Barbara Goleta Area
Anyone know any decent runs up above Goleta? I have some business over the weekend, 6/28-29, and was thinking about rolling up in the Jeep.
