How do you think this would work?

Right now I have a two door 2012 JK with hard top and full doors. I bought the Mopar half door kit, had the painted, then assembled them.. They are no on yet due to medical problems I've had for the past six weeks or so. Tomorrow I plan to at least remove the top, but I have had the front panels off a few times and love it....except for the full doors. So how would it work, eventually, to leave the half doors on, got a set of uppers, and used that set up with the hard top...panels on or off. Would the half door upper meet up soundly with the hard top to keep weather out in winter? Might look dorky but easy to take advantage of nicer days which we get in come the top panels and door uppers and bingo..nice warm weather ride which can be easily reversed.

Maybe some of you have done does it work out?
