mikes911 Matt,
Thanks for posting this transformation. And thanks to everyone else for chiming in. I'm just getting started in my Wrangler adventure and appreciate learning from others' experiences.

Total cost is like $750 from quadra... not very cheap Bestop Trektop NX is only $635 shipped including hardware.
I bought the Rampage top and header bar from jeepaddons.com for a really good price... A lot less than quadratec. I had an existing soft top that was in poor shape, so I did not need the surrounds or tailgate bar. I probably would have gone with the Trektop NX if I needed all of the hardware. I would definitely recommend calling jeepaddons and pricing whichever top you choose, I am very pleased with their pricing and customer service, they even offered me a discount from their advertised web price when I called in my order. Plus free shipping. Give them a call, they carry Bestop also if you go that route.

I haven't had a chance to air them down yet, so I can't honestly answer that question. Do you think the narrow tire will cause issues on the 8" rim when running low tire pressure?

They are full soft doors that also break down into half doors. Got them as a combo when I purchased by Bestop Supertop years ago. I always thought it gave the Jeep a "CJ" look. I also have the CJ style mirrors on it too.

I've got a few rips/tears in my seats that need covering. What seat covers would you recommend?

I was actually very surprised at how quiet they are on road as aggressive as they are. They also seem to drive well down the road, they don't seem to pull with the road imperfections at all. I haven't compared them to the duratracs, or any other 12.5 tire though. I have heard very good things about the duratracs though. I am very pleased with them so far and I prefer the look of a tall narrow tire, I would definitely recommend them.

Any recommendations on nice seat covers? I was thinking of going with the Wet Okoles, but they are so expensive.

After snooping around on these forums, I decided to go with the 10.5s. I liked the look of the narrower tire also.

Take a look at the Iggee seat covers: 1997 1998-2002 JEEP WRANGLER TJ S.LEATHER SEAT COVERS [JEP004] I've been looking at them myself. Heard good things about them. Similar look to the neoprene ones, but they're simulated leather and supposedly hold up much better than neoprene.

I like the way your white Jeep looks with the white letters out too. The good thing about BFG's white letters are that they are solid, and way easier to keep clean vs the outlined white letters.

If they get dark and dirty, a little bleach white whitewall cleaner and a quick scrub with a tire brush and they will look like new again.

Nice job on your Jeep.
Thanks!

MWRecords No problem. That's the best thing about Jeeps, they are one of the few vehicles that look good, if not better, when they are dirty!

GoldenSahara00, not sure why the white lettering (faded) out tells people you are a serious jeeper as opposed to a mall crawler. I thought it was cool on my 68 Mustang but I don't think most people care which side is out.
Because when your tires are mud stained and scrapped and faded, versus gleaming white and spotless, people can tell you wheel your jeep.

Sorry for the hijack OP. I think your jeep looks pretty cool with them out.
