MistiC NiNja Hey Phil, theres a good video on YouTube '07 Jeep JK - Wheels & Fenders [S2 Ep.12-3] - YouTube

Thats how I removed my flares and it took a couple seconds. i only lost 1 or 2 clips (per flair) in the process.

If you're in San Antonio you can borrow my plastic riveter. I also have like 15 clips left.

Monstaliner on Fender Flares

I finished applying the Monstaliner to my spare set of fender flares; I like the texture. One gallon will cover (2 coats) all 4 flares with very little excess...

Monstaliner "Killer Beej" = Jeep's Sahara Tan...

Pics to follow once I get them installed

Number of Arrowhead Fasteners/Nylon Rivots

On each front fender flare (2011 JK Sport), how many arrowhead fasteners will I need to buy to re-install both sides (driver and passenger). How many nylon blind rivets for the front driver + front passenger will I need to purchase?

same question for the rear fender flares -- how many arrowhead fasteners + nylon blind rivets do I need to buy to re-install each fender flare.

I will buy them (they come in 25 counts packages) from Clips &

I am MonstaLining my fender flares (extra set).

SilverSport Phil, Welcome Aboard!

Drill out the center of the plastic rivets or cut the heads off with a pair of diagonal pliers. Once the plastic rivets are removed, pull the fender off the body. Yeah, you will break some of the retaining clips but have no fear. I will see if I can dig up links to replacement rivets and clips.

Rivets (much cheaper than dealer):

JK fender flare removal

I am new to the site. Have a 2010 JK 4 Door w/ hardtop and 2012 JK 2 Door w/ soft top. Both are lifted w/ wheels and tires. I need some help on how to remove the rear fender flare. Have a small dent above the flare and need to remove it so a guy can fix it. I am pretty hands on but didn't want to start pulling fasteners without asking. What is the best way? I know there are some push pins that hold the liner but the underside of the flare has a strange fastener that almost looks like a plastic rivet! Help !
